Clear Armor for iPhone by Case-Mate

bodyfilm
Case-Mate have just released their latest protective offering for the iPhone, but this time it's not a case, but a protective clear film they are calling Clear Armor. Clear Armor is the perfect choice for those who desire invisible protection for their iPhone. Originally created by 3M to protect Apache Helicopter blades from sand damage in Desert Storm, this high grade protective film is incredibly resilient. In fact, this is the same 3M Scotchgard film used to protect cars around the world from scratches, dings, and road debris. This is not the first product of this type, as FullBodyFilms released a similar product back in February, which was reviewed over at iLounge, and is currently available in the UK and rest of Europe from iCase Shop.

Ivyskin Xylo T2 Cases

reflect_blog
For those of you who watched my Case-Mate Naked Case video review, you will know that I mentioned that the Naked Case was appearing under 2 other brand names. One of those brands is the Ivyskin Xylo T2, which unlike the Case-Mate version, not only comes in the Original Clear, but also Clear with Reflective front, Red and Black. The cases are of the same high quality with Touch-Through technology, but it is the colour range that makes them stand out from the crowd. iCase Shop will be one of the first UK resellers, and are selling the entire range for £27.99 including VAT and UK delivery. This case should be available for the 1st/2nd week of May, and as soon as they have stock we will post a video review, so keep an eye on this site.

The other branded model is the SeeJacket Crystal Case from Artwizz.

Case-Mate Naked Case 2nd Generation

clear
For those of you who have watched my video reviews of the Case-Mate Naked Case, you will now that I am very impressed with this case, however there were a couple of design issues that I had.

1. Access to the iPhones main power button was difficult to access.
2. If you hands become sweaty, then the case may become slippery and run the risk of being easily dropped.

These were very minor issues, however the good news is that Case-Mate have seen my video review and are looking to address these 2 issues in the next version of the Naked Case.

There is no release date for this case, but as soon as we have news we will post it.

Case Mate Naked Case Review Part 2 (re-do)

Following some encoding issues my previous video post lost sound about half-way through, so I have re-done the video. The Case-Mate Naked Case is a well thought out case, and apart from 2 minor niggles with the design, it is one of the best cases currently on the market.

Check out the video review, and if you are looking for this or any other Case-Mate case, then check out www.icaseshop.co.uk

Case Mate Naked Case Review Part 2

Having used the Case-Mate Naked Case for the past few days, here is my final video review of what I think is a very good and stylish case.

Whilst this case is not yet available in the UK, a range of leather Case-Mate cases are available from various resellers, including my very own iCase Shop.

Naked Case for the Apple iPhone by Case-Mate

Case-Mate have just announce a new type of case for the Apple iPhone and iPod Touch, call the Naked Case. Made from acrylic and with an electrostatic membrane on the front of the case allowing full touch through access.

This case has been offered to existing Case-Mate customers, and is on offer to the first 150 customers. I am one of those 150 customers and as soon as my iPhone Naked Case arrives I will post a video review, but until then find below the case spec and and video of the iPhone Naked Case from Case-Mate's website.
Naked case
"Introducing the world's first touch through case for the iPhone. This acrylic iPhone case is the only case that provides full protection for your screen. The patent pending electrostatic membrane on the front of this case actually mimics the way the iPhone screen works, allowing full touch through access, while still protecting your screen from scratches. Cutouts are provided for full access to all controls. The Naked Case lets the true beauty of the iPhone speak for itself. It's as if your iPhone was wearing nothing at all!"
